What is the best way to market my New Scooter Store?
I just opened a scooter store. Storefront has a good screen and that bicycles in the parking lot. Also announced on the website and has a good response. I want to take the next level. Does anyone know any other meothod of marketing? Buy mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, ATVs, Go Karts. Where should I advertise? I really have no marketing budget, but spend about $ 2000/month advertising on the Internet at this time and 75% of scooter sales come through internet advertising but is not enough.
Note local celebrity / free public relations angle. For example, give (give) one or more motorcycles (more is better) to the local Radio DJ, TV anchors, newspaper reporters in your area. Exit fashion restaurants and bars, and partnering with them to offer a free scooter rental contract for a few months to their best customers. Depending on the volume and margins, give (take?) A scooter to the best student of the local high school. Etc. .. Have you outlined the ideal scooter customer? Age / demographics - Income, location, lifestyle, fashion preferences, as you can. Where to hang out. What they see and read and listen. Why buy a motorcycle? What will replace it? What else do they buy? Only by doing this, you identify potential partners and media. Finally, recognize that a scooter is not an impulse purchase in order to give potential clients free information (a good excuse to get your name and email address in order to guide the purchaser free of scooter and 10 warnings for first time buyers scooter). Position yourself as the expert (who are!) And provide tons of useful information. Analyze the mental Emotional / buying cycle, fears, desires and needs questions and talk to them. Good luck. Scott
