thinking about a road trip?
I want to rent a 125cc scooter and drive to the Shetlands and back through the Orkneys. Is it a good idea as 've planned a route and pace etc. Where i I can hire a scooter in northern England and Scotland to do as I live in London and can not be bothered transport my ped up there. Do you think in the summer. Nobody wants to go?
Sounds like great fun. I cycled most of the route and sceneray and people are wonderful, I'm sure you have a great time. Depending on which of the Shetland and Orkney Islands want to visit, moving can be a time with only one or two ferries a week to the smaller islands.
