summer which projects are good for small groups of children that do not involve firearms?
2 days a week, while I'm at work mine are home to three children (ages 6,8,11) with the teenage babysitter and her two brothers (ages 7 and 11). I guess they get bored with swimming, cycling, scooters, board games, eating, chalk, hide n seek, etc ... (If I had just as good). I reviewed the web sites for projects they can do. but some the ideas are very expensive, complicated or child. Is there any idea? thanks i know what it all means. Honestly, I think kids today lack sufficient imagination to find ways to entertain themselves. I'm trying to avoid killing each other until I get home ....... when I was a child, the girl next door and I would be finding weed in the yard, field weed onions, ick weeds that looked like lettuce, and making "salad." we covered our arms with milk weed milk sticky .... and when that didn't work, we tied the brat who lived two doors down from a tree.
I know you said that made with chalk, but when I was little, my friends and I pointed to a house of sidewalk chalk and then played house. We each draw our own rooms, someone points to the kitchen, someone called the bathroom, someone points to a study room or family, and then decide who is who. We want to get the names, appearances, and age. We would like to do that all day, I'm serious =)
